COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY . . . . . . . .
Teri's philosophy and theory of counseling is to address the whole person: body, mind, spirit. It is her preference to address both the spiritual AND the psychological needs of her clients. She believes Jesus Christ is the FOUNDATION of her labors together with her clients in counseling. Her guidelines for creating a treatment plan incorporate an approach to counseling that takes into account the spiritual, psychological, emotional, social, and biological dimensions of the whole person. She uses both Family Systems and Cognitive-Behavioral in her therapy.
