AKC Miniature Schnzuzers, the NUBBYBUTTS.
Welcome to the world of Nubbybutts AKC Miniature Schnauzers! I am proud to breed AKC miniature schnauzers, specializing in blacks but, I do have all colors,recognized by the AKC. I breed to meet the AKC standards and to produce quality miniature schnauzers. My dogs are all AKC registered as puppies: then I register them with the United Kennel Club and show them in only UKC shows. This is because the UKC does NOT only judge a dog on it's coat. I myself do not like a schnauzer that has a stripped coat, one it can be/or is painful to do and they feel very harsh. My dogs are my family first so their comfort is most important to me. The judges physical inspeciton is done from head to toe and not just by running their hands over the dog in 3-5 seconds. The UKC standard for the miniature schnauzer is exactly the same as that of the AKC, however the judges look at the physical build, breed characteristics and movement of the dog much more than just how 'pretty' the coat appears.
Champion Gordy J's Ruedeshiemblacksmith has just been certified the number one show dog for 2008 in the Miniature Schnauzer Breed. At the Top Ten by invitation only event June 11,2009 Gordy J took best of breed and we made the top 60 out of 410 dogs!, not bad for not hand stripping his coat.

Here at Nubbybutt's I do not have a kennel license because in
Michigan that means my dogs could not live in the house with us,
according to our local officals they have to be kept outside. My
intention is to breed and raise happy well adjusted puppies, and
they are members of our family. Living outside is not an option in my book. I strive to provide both my adults and puppies with lots of play, socialization, love and attention.
I currently have babies in Malibu Beach CA, Seaford DE, Owosso MI, San Diego CA, Detroit MI,South Field MI, Manhattan NY, Florida, Georgia,Oklahoma and Canada, just to name a few.
It has taken years for me to obtain the quality dogs that I
feel good about breeding. It is my goal to breed a quality miniature schnauzer that will make a wonderful pet, maybe a show dog or the next great agility competitor. The love and devotion these bright energetic little dogs bring to their owners is over the top. They are very smart! They love attention and make great companions for people of all ages. Schnauzers are small enough that they are easy to handle for both young children and older adults. Never let the size of a miniature schanuzer mislead you...they have the energy to keep up with anyone and the heart to match.
About my puppies:Each litter is thought out carefuly with attention to the positive and negative of each parent, no dog is perfect (even though in my heart they are)with the hopes of producing a HEALTHY,sound,happy mini schnauzer. My puppies are all raised in our home and are very socialized, with other dogs, small children, my pet rabbit and all the goings on of a busy/happy household.
They have been vet checked,dew claws and tails done,wormed,first shots,they come with a health guarantee and lots of previous love! They also go to their new homes with a baggie of food, printed material for the new owners, AKC registration papers and their blanket. I do this so that the transition is easier for everyone. I am never anxious to sell my puppies, making sure they are going to wonderful forever homes is my main concern.

Your puppy can be reserved for a deposit of 100.00.this deposit will be deducted from the purchase price. All deposits are nonrefundable,so please make sure of your decission prior to placing a deposit. I do set up payment plans to make the family budget easier to deal with.
