Lydia's Guesthouse, owned and operated locally by Lydia Villanueva for 11 years, is situated in the north residential area of Placencia Village.
It is located right off Placencia's famous sidewalk (the narrowest street in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records), just steps away from the beautiful beach and a 10-minute walk to the dock and local businesses.
The guesthouse is a two-story building with eight rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and come complete with fans, hot/cold shared bath (four rooms to two bathrooms), refrigerator and offers a great view of the Caribbean just a few steps away. Lydia's cares about the quality of each guest's vacation and strives to provide a pleasurable, relaxing, and affordable stay in Belize. We are well known for out great Belizean Hospitality and famous coconut bread.
At your request, breakfast is available, complete with fresh homemade bread, jam, freshly squeezed juice, and more. While in Placencia, to make your vacation complete, let Lydia's arrange your tours, whether it is scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, bird watching, camping or tours to the Jaguar Reserve, or ancient Mayan Ruins.
ALSO AVAILABLE: Two one-bedroom cabanas and a 3 bedroom house located just behind Lydia's Guesthouse. The cabanas and house come fully furnished with a queen size bed, all kitchen facilities, hot/cold bath, linens, and prepaid phone.
