TACSS
The Association of Computer Science Students. The first discussion of TACSS was held on 28th of October, 2002. This site gives the highlights of the topics discussed. Topics ranging from Internet and networking to the latest technologies will be discussed in this association.
Here's a brief list of the topic of our discussions:
Discussion 1: Special programs in C, Working of interrupts in c, file inclusion techniques etc.
Discussion 2: Basics of Networking(The OSI Model, protocols, different types of protocols) and Dos Commands.
Discussion 3: Ethernet and the Fdisk Command.
Discussion 4: The Unix O/S basics, some unix commands, use of pointers and their application in Data structures.
Discussion 5: Networking (The concept of Packet Switching, routers, repeaters and bridges), Computer architecture basics.
Discussion 6: Unix commands and basics of Unix shell programming, motherboard basics.
