Operation Bush Unemployment
We the people of the United States of America must stand up and take our country back. Millions of Americans have lost jobs since the George W. Bush administration took office, with no decent job creation proposals made. He has made it more difficult to contact him by e-mail, and he is not listening to the American public. We will stand together and send him a message that the next person we want standing in the unemployment line is him.
I challenge you, the American voters and taxpayers, to send George W. Bush a printed out copy of the State of Texas Unemployment Application form on November 4, 2003.
First, follow the link to the form. Print out the form. Make as many copies as you want. Insert George W. Bush on the name section of the form. Then, on November 4th, 2003, mail as many as you can (each in its own envelope) through the US Postal Service to the White House address:

Ideally, the number of unemployment forms to grace the desks of the mail openers should number the amount of people unemployed because of this administration. November 4th is crucial because that is this year's designated voting day and these masses of forms must arrive during a 2-3 day span.
Get to the State of Texas Unemployment website as soon as possible before they remove the online application by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. One form sent to the White House will not make a difference, but tens of thousands, and hopefully millions, in a time span of a week or so will. Somebody in the White House will notice. We must all band together to make our voices heard. We are the voters, we are the taxpayers, and we will not stand for any more of our jobs to go overseas.
The cost to mail 100 of these forms is less than $40. If you are unemployed, or in danger of being unemployed, this is a lot of money. I encourage you to spread the word to your friends, family and neighbors

I've been getting some good feedback so far from people and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting updates? I've also been hearing some scathing comments from those who disagree with what I'm trying, too. I find that encouraging. It must have struck some sort of chord. I'm interested in anything you have to say, any suggestions. Would a message board be something any of you are interested in?

8/27/2003 UPDATE!!! Again, I'd like to thank everybody for their encouraging feedback! I received a link to an interesting article about the job loss crisis in America and I've added it to the links at the bottom. It is titled Job Loss Link.
