Normaly I would not stoop to this type of activity, but when I say desperate, I mean DESPERATE. Above you will see the most beautiful, kind and sweet young woman you will ever meet. She is my one and only child who now lives a long distance from me. She is the one surviving child of my intended offspring. Following the painfull loss of 4 babies, God granted me the birth of Sarah Anne. What I am doing here is for her and the legacy I leave for her, her children, and her children's children. I recently listened to a special report about people who had extremely bad financial woes. Their individual situations, being somewhat unique, all ended up being advertised on the internet. Although, I found this to be a type of begging, I soon began to think, "how inventive".
Well, here I am, at the age of 48, divorced, jobless, stricken with Type II Adult Diabetes, Severe Periphrial Neuropathy, failing vision, chronic pain and fatigue and pennies away from bankruptcy. I am desperate for a compassionate and generous listener. I am 4 days away from my 30th High School Reunion and I don't even want to go. I am too embarrassed and ashamed to reunite with people who I am sure are successfull and prosperous. I have'nt put makeup on or shampood my hair in days, which is so out of my character - I can't believe it. My prescriptions are $290.00 every 90 days with insurance coverage but my health insurance will expire on July 31, 2003. I barely have enough funds to pay my housing expenses August 1. My debt totals approximately $108,000.00. Following a very sad divorce in July of 2002, it became my responsibility to take care of all my needs. I handled everything fairly well until I became very ill in late 2002 and subsequently lost my job in January, 2003. I cant say that I blame them, but my family does not feel comfortable around me anymore and they have never been considered financialy prosperous to the level of helping anyone else out of a difficult spot. This information would overwhelm them.
