ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS/RULES

You must look after your pets properly, this means feeding them, curing them when they are ill, and also playing with them and generally being a good owner. If I see pets on your account who are starving, ill or unhappy then your application to rehome a pet will be rejected.
You must log on often enough to care for your pets properly, if you are going to be away for a few days then send your pets to the Neolodge. I dont expect you to log on every day forever regardless of reality, but I dont want to rehome pets to accounts where the owner often doesnt visit the account for several days or longer.
Ideally I would like owners who will read to the pet sometimes, or as often as they can but this isnt a hard and fast rule.
You dont have to promise to feed the pet gourmet foods or spend tons of neopoints buying them things, so long as you feed them, play with them, care for them, and love them I'm happy.
Don't use lots of chat speak in your neomail. Try to make sure your application is easy to read, and understand, If I have to struggle to understand an application because it is illiterate, badly spelt, full of bad grammar or chat speak etc, then I probably wont bother. And you won't be considered.
Ideally I would prefer people who have been on neopets at least two months, this is because alot of people play neopets for a few weeks and then never log in again. If you are a newbie, then I will consider you if you can convince me you will be a good long term owner.
Ideally you will need to have some kind of instant messenger, such as Yahoo, MSN, ICQ etc. This is so we can make the transfer as easily as possible, and reduce risk of you loosing the pet during transfer
I'm not on my adoption account 24 hours a day every day, so send me one neomail or email telling me you want to adopt a pet and then give me a couple of days to contact you. I should normally reply the same day or the next day. If you havent heard a anything within a week then contact me again.
