Sun Dawu 孙大午 is still a farmer although he was given the honorary title of entrepreneur.
His entrepreneuer title can't change his farmer status, but tells us clearly he is not a worker, or a cadre, etc. just like the classification listed in the Hukou certificate.
When we call him farmer entrepreneuer, it is kind of praise or a reminder?

peasant and farmer are different in english

2: a usually uneducated person of low social status
farmer:
1: a person who pays a fixed sum for some privilege or source of income
2: a person who cultivates land or crops or raises animals or fish
kathy's father is a farmer. He owns a farm that produces fruits and vegetables.

I know what China is. Sun Dawu 孙大午 is China, Kong Fansen is China, thousands of miners risking their lives for the state's relentless economic development projects are China, thinkers who want a better future for the people and the region are China.

A precious trip
Thursday I got a chance to see Sun Dawu, thanks to L and his classmate M.
Sun's stories are so moving and his spirit inspired me so much. I decided to write something for him, a benevolent sage and brave revolutionalist.
This trip sharpened my understanding of the valuable traditional thoughts of the Doctrine of the Mean(中庸), and the Practice instead of Theory as the original resource of creativity and the real prescription for the problems.
I also further understood success & failure, Freedom & Equality, rich & poor.
I believe that there're still many excellent peasant entrepreneurs, peasant politicians and peasant professionals that deserve our broad attention and respect.
Wisdom lies in common sense. The most scarce gut is the bravery to insist on common sense.
