Sales skills that will earn you money:
I have been in sales for 15 years and I am still amazed at what sales people don't know about sales. And how everyone thinks they are a sales person. So I decide to try and help a few people out. Feel free to use this information to train and prepare your sales people on: How do you close a sale?
Now what I'm not going to leave out here is you must know your product, no sales script can save you if you don't know the product you are selling. You must be confident in your presentation. Know your script backwards and forwards. You must believe in your product and gain the prospects trust right away. This will happen by being the expert on the product. You must know that after you give your presentation to not say another word. No matter what and I really mean no matter how long it seems before they ask you how much is it? It is very important at this time to wait for your prospect to say something and then and only then do go on. At this time listen carefully to what they say. This is how you make the sale. Then with your product knowledge answer there questions and close the sale. Also remember do not go to the close before they have all the information they need to make the decision to say yes. If they ask how much it is before you are done, tell them this: Let me show you or tell you a few more things about the product then I can tell you how you can purchase our product very simply. If you tell them before they have all the information they are only going to base there decision on the amount of money it will cost them for the product. You want them to see that they need and want the product very, very much first. Then after all questions in there minds have been answered. Give them the price and they will buy the product from you and you will then have yourself a customer.
