~Selfish Love~
~A child is born to two hearts
That hardly spoke a word,
Torn between two passions
in a world quite absurd,
One who wants a child to love
One who doesn’t share,
Feelings carried deep within
The hardly spoken word,
Feelings only they can feel
And they never let them out,
In casual conversation, they slip
And then they shout,
Building deep inside, are feelings
They don’t dare,
Feelings of love and wanting to
But feelings they don’t share.~
