Joining thermoplastics and thermoplastic composites involves heating the polymer to a viscous state and physically causing polymer chains to interdiffuse, usually by application of pressure.
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the surface to be repaired by scraping the crack with a pocket knife or using a Dremel type tool. Surface preparation is very important to ensuring a proper bond , be sure to clearly see the beginning and the end of the crack. Remove stick-all from the package, cut a piece of rod that is at least 2 inches longer than the crack. Pre heat the surface to be repaired using ideally a hot air source, soldering iron , propane torch, even a hair dryer will work as well. Apply heat to area evenly paying close attention to the condition of the surface. After surface is heated it should be softened and a little tacky but not molted or burned. SIMPLY HEAT AND DRIP STICK-ALL ON THE SPOT TO BE REPAIRED ITS THAT EASY . Time , Temperature, Pressure are the keys to a good strong bond. Allow 30 minutes to 1 hour to cool down completely and cure.
