Through closed eyes
I open my heart
Looking through the window
I pull the blinds apart.

Never again will I let someone in
My heart stays closed
My eyes let me see
And in my eyes I know how it should be.

I close my fist
Around the gun
With a single lead bullet
We become one.

Through my mind
I close my eyes
To say goodnight
One last time.
