As you can see I am a big basketball fan. I love the game and want to encourage others to play as well. Here are some steps to help you on your Cross-Over.

Step One : The Fake
As you are dribbling with the ball in your left hand. Take a wide step to the left accompanied with good fake of the head. The ball should also be now out to your left. The defender should have moved to your left anticipating your drive.

Step Two : The Cross
Now you cross him by quickly bringing the ball to your right. You should be accelerating and leaning in while doing this. The cross has to be fast to beat the recovery from the defender.

Step Three : The Finish
Now you should have enough room on your right. And if you don't have an easy path to the hoop then take the easy jumper.

*Remember you have to keep on practicing to make your crossover deadly. And don't waste your crossover on a slack defender, because they are too lazy to fall for the fake. Just drive past them.
