Starcraft Tips For BGH
I may not be the best Starcraft player on Bnet but I have my fair share of techniques and skills that can turn the game around to a win.
There are three main things you should always do in a game...(this is mainly for new people, but it wouldn't hurt to read it)
1) Never give up. (you don't know what your enemy or enemies are doing(unless you hack, then your a loser anyway.) That last big wave they sent thats practically tearing thru your base could be all they have, it's a big habit of many SC players to give up once they destroy someones main base, because they think they have it won...there have been so many times when either my partner or I have started all over again and made the difference between a win and a loss.Which brings me to my next point.
2) Always expand, for a lot of reasons, first if they do take out your main base it makes it a lot easier to get started again, rather then salvaging that one last miner to start all over.Now I'm not saying do this strait away, as it could potentially screw your partner over, but during the coarce of the game you should be thinking about it.Second of all drops... they are the finance killers, no one will ever drop on ur men, the only target for a drop is your mineral soarce, this doesn't mean go overboard on your defense it just proves my point that having an expansion is a life saver, they will destroy most of your miners half the time and so having an expansion will make it a lot easier to get back on your feet.And third money = power.
3)On the subject of money = power... you should never stop building drones, you should end up with 2 drones per mineral square before you even consider stoping, and once you reach that point you should or should have expanded by then and build up the drones for your expansion.. a good side note is to build attacking units in your expansion too that way it provides it with a little defense too.
OK well those are some pretty basic points but I can give you some more technical and useful pointers now...
