Francine (Idina), a fellow law attorney, approaches Kevin (Taye) as he sits uncomfortably in a Baptist church -- They just chit-chat and FLIRT like crazy as she gives him a hard time about being there. He does the same to her, and tries to act like he belongs there, but she just laughs.
Francine and Kevin walk out of the church and she continues to give him a hard time, this time about one of the women he's been canoodling with -- She flirts, he gets uncomfortable :)
Francine shows up at Kevin's apartment with Melanie (Kevin's adopted daughter, Sarah's birth mother) and her new fiancee, who are going to try to get custody of Sarah with the help of Francine. Kevin, of course, is not happy and throws them out.
