IRONWORKS
A 4 piece tribute to classic rock band that will rock your world,
if you like AC/DC, Great White, Deep Purple, Harlequin, then you will love this band.
Each member has been playing the circuit for many years in different bands. When Bernie Scott decided to form a 4 piece Classic rock band, something he's wanted to do for over 20 years. After auditioning 6 drummers, , and 4 bass players, Bernie played with the drummer "Keith" before. He knew he had the best drummer around. "Todd" the bass player was soooo smooth on the bass lines, Bernie knew he had completed the band of his dreams, after only 1 week of rehearsal they played a benefit which brought them a lot of attention. Now there's a buzz going around about "IRONWORKS" and they are ready.
IRONWORKS has been chosen to back up an international
act called "Great Balls of Fire", to tour Newfoundland in April, more on that later.

Bernie's new project now is getting his new band "IRONWORKS", in the spotlight, they are a classic rock party band, with great, I mean great vocals, drums, guitar, bass, unbelievable, you will have to hear them to believe how good they are.

HERE IS A BIO OF EACH MEMBER:
BERNIE SCOTT started playing guitar at the age of 10, and has been playing in various groups since early teens. Bernie is greatly influenced by the guitar sound of Ritchie Blackmore which is very evident in Bernie's guitar Playing. He plays his vintage 1978 Les Paul with such fast licks it turns heads, and people love to just stand in front of the stage and stare at his fingers as they move up and down the neck of his guitar with lightning speed.
Playing all over Newfoundland for the last 20 years Bernie writes, composes and records music, he was chosen for the Juno Showcase, and composed music for an award winning song called "Stars in Time”, which won 1st place at an international music and talent contest in Charleston, South Carolina.
Some of Bernie's songs are getting airplay on local and international radio stations. Bernie has organized and performed in many fundraisers, clubs, festivals, T.V appearance, and radio interviews. The list goes on.
You will truly enjoy the high-energy guitar playing of this very talented musician. Some of the bands Bernie played with over the years were Boulevard, State of Shock, The Prior/Scott Project; he also played for such acts as Jimmy Lee Howard, and Angela Warner.
KEITH MCMENAMIE originally from Toronto, has been playing drums since the age of 4, and it shows, the dynamic and hard pounding style makes you want to get up and dance, Keith loves all types of music, he's musical influences range from the drumming styles of groups such as Led Zeppelin, Deep purple, Jimmy Hendrix, The Allman Brothers and AC/DC.
Playing the club scene in Ontario with many different groups and musicians before moving to Newfoundland, Keith is capable of playing practically every style of music.
This high-energy drummer is a must see.
TODD FORD is from Happy Valley-Goosebay and has been playing music for the past 15 years. He is a guitar and bass player that has played the bar scene in southern Ontario. During his time in Ontario he was a part of three different bands that played both cover music and originals, these bands were PMT, Fifth Season, and 13 Floor.
Todd currently is living in newfoundland and enjoys studying classical guitar in his spare time. He is now currently
thumping out heavy bass lines for Ironworks and having a blast making good tunes with this heavy lineup.
