We're a studio band, so you'll not find us doing live gigs. Well not thus far! We're music writer/composers.

We want to say here that both of us cherish, and relish your support; and thanks for popping in on us again. Here, we keep you up to speed on any of our latest and pending projects, or bits and pieces of entbiz related activities.
We like to keep the message simple, hence the basic Webpage. No flashy graphics; no flim flam!...[And no spare dosh to elaborate with!]. Anyway, simple is simply best!?
We'll be planning a new project and promotion to be launched soon. Our last was a Limited Edition 4-trax CD titled around a new Christmas song.(Check out the *homepage* link for more info). 234]. Th 31st July. The recent James Braidwood(Fire Chief) statue has been mounted for some days now. Close by, the surrounding High Street Fringe Office and performance area/stretch has been kitted out with it's full street furniture for the Fringe08, and so sporting buskers; bands; fire eaters; jugglers; living statues; stilt walkers; and traders stalls of paintings and jewellery; street artists and charicaturists et al! It's chok-a-bloc with tourists and security, and the inevitable camera and mic crews! And, always the sounds of singing voices(some drunken ones in there too) ..and played instruments as a backdrop to it's all engulfing crowd's curiosity! www.edfringe.com
235]. Fr 1st August. This is day one of the Edinburgh Military Tatoo on the castle esplanade, and as usual, expect heavy crowds to turn up. But, on Our favourite "gripe" subject, both Stuart Cosgrove from BBC Radio Scotland's "Off The Ball" and Channel 4, along with political journalist for the Times, Lorraine Davidson gave scathing and bold comments on air, and on their regular Radio Scotland's Friday noon news roundup programme comment slot, and in the shade of the heavy fines by Ofcom www.ofcom.org.uk for poor broadcast practices. You can listen again on their site's "iplayer" facility. www.bbc.co.uk We are not alone! It was indeed sweet music to Our ears today to hear them both concur with Us! PS. All bronze plating and Gold lettering is complete for James Braidwood's statue.
236]. St 2nd August. Earlier in the week, We've been networking with high profile touring acts that pass through the city's venues. This is Our regular way of working. But now the Festival's in full swing, it gets to be busier on that side of things, and it has it's perks of the job/profession too. Yesterday, We had a cuddle greeting with a busy lady author/playwright/musician and songwriter friend. She's Scots American. She showed Us a mobi clip of her on a Brit TV quiz show winning cash. She brought Us up to speed on her latest projects, one being a play in the fringe fest. That street, as all over, was packed out with nightime show seekers! She hinted at using Us for the music component if it takes off? Time will tell!
237]. Sn 3rd August. There is no doubt we're an *island* nation. Visitors from hotter weather windows seem to like our cooler climate, and sing of it's comfort and joy? No matter where we hail from(no pun intended), we all share the same sky, but not what comes down upon us, and from way up there!? We listened to a radio interview broacast live from Perth, Scotland with Nanci (Caroline) Griffith on her version of the song "From A Distance", with the message that we're all interlinked, and just so! It's a fact that this anthem song was given the "three unwise monkey's" treatment until she was first to record it and put it mainstream. 238]. Mn 4th August. The music mogul and owners of the Abbey Road recording studios known to Us, and all other musos as EMI were the main game during the war, in the invention of, and development of the radar system that was first called Blind Navigation, but later became code named H2S. www.doramusic.com/Radar.htm Music and war don't sit too easily together in any domain or any politically non aggressive territory!?..(EXCEPTION:- Tony Blair and music combined for *ego* alone). 239]. Mn 4th August. At 10:40hrs this morning Our "Ronnie from Edinburgh" phoned in to the Bozo Base Camp to tell co-presenter Karen of his word for an *array or collection = GADOOSH* ..(spelt any which way!). Karen likes the word and asked to be able to use it herself! It concerned new entry "sample" words for a colloquial Cambridge Dictionary due to go on sale. On their today's news they tell us that John Prescott has likened the perils of the New Labour party to a sinking *Titanic. He points out that he supports Boredom Groan to be the right man to steer this ship. He says the *T was "sunk by an iceberg and not by the captain!". He says G B is the right captain. ..231]. Sn 27th July. In GB(Great Britain); We have a mental video clip loop of a crowd of dancers on the "Titanic" going into disarray as the band abandons the stand in a panic, and the musical deck chairs are sliding away in the politically incorrect affray! The House of Commons boasts an active band called "The MP4" www.bbc.co.uk ___But on another matter entirely; We want to explore the musicality and recording potential of this latest touch screen gizmo that recognizes physical objects such as an MP3 set down on it, to then play music from it's drive or upload from one to another sat next door!? Z o o m to 6 months on, and the question is ...will it have an in built or "overtaken" obsolescence? But it sounds like the direction of things to come. 240]. Tu 5th August. Oh! The sights you see in tights et al? We've just been treated to a lady with an arse like a tidal ..(Tracy Emin) water bed. A Scottish nivigator called Alistair Darling has grounded his department's cargo vessel on a Northern Rock; not once but twice over! Is his department seen as capable, or just possibly culpable? www.thefreedictionary.com

241]. We 6th August. Here! It' been raining for a solid 25* hours! Here, We have a calendar summer, but no seasonal one! And yes; many a true statement is said in jest; and it was this last Monday 4th that a lady radio presenter said in jest that she(paraphrased), a Ruth Davidson "is the centre of her own universe and being in radio broadcasting, how else could it/she be!?". It was close to the actual "found to be" way and minset of some, but fortunately not all of those with their hand/s on their gender driven domain tiller. Another lady mentioned in an earlier entry, one Lorraine Davidson(no known relation) stated on air that the said Ruth lady's employer was presiding over a culture/regime of "mediocrity"! If music be the fruit of love, and the healing force of all the world, let's hear Ours play on their minds as worthy; even if unscheduled; due to a deep seated bigotry!
242] Th 7th August. We always listen in, despite Our feelings of dismay, to Saturday mornings and Janice F show. It's just as well 'cos no audience__then no chain of command, in a nono-sustain domain! But all the Beebs horses and all the Beebs men and woman kind are coming in to Edinburgh's George Square garden next Monday 11th to take to live OB sessions, with live audiences under Spiegeltent timber, mirror and canvas. www.spiegeltent.net It's always a well patronized showcase venue, worthy of the best and techno'd and presented by same. 243]. Fr 8th August 2008[calander moment]. W E L L! Yes ..Edinburgh has become one, albeit temporary! It caught all the 35mm rainfall and it went down hill like street rivers, reaching into all the low points with a vengeance over the 25* hours it "did descend" upon our city; Festival, Castle Tattoo and all caught in the whole water fall hole/s!. www.news.bbc.co.uk Ian Thom returns home after his high profile, protest pole climb, in Beijing City. Now that it's dried out, the city of Edinburgh is buzzing and in sinc with Beijing City, with all welcomed incomers. Both are messaging to a globe, artisticly and creatively alert. But, Russia has taken up arms agin a neighbour in anger. It' all just *BOIL IN THE BAG HUMAN NATURE*. Aptly, tonight's the 8th birthday party of the world renowned Forest Cafe www.theforest.org.uk in sinc with the calander, where the best and most admirable traits of the two legged earth dwellers in wellies, practice their best characteristics! Live music is always the order of the date. Take it out on to any field of combat and turn up the volume to full poke to drown out the big boys "fodder making toys!", and provoke a mood shift!!! 244]. St 9th August. More rain today, as of a Saturday-carriage in the train of rainy days! But, it's been an interesting opening day at the Edinburgh International book Festival. www.edbookfest.co.uk Author Ian Rankin spent time with a politically primed Boredom Groan, who did the "statement oppertunity" thing in a bid to be "closer" and empathetic to the voters? Now why the need, indeed? It coincided with the online launch of George Orwell's diaries; the man behind the kick start thinking of the ex Policeman Graeme Pearson(a Scot), to button push-start the CCTV "surveillance society". The "alpha component" can not rest in the brain juice of those such atuned to a controlled domain over the hoi polloi, and set up as their own exclusive comfort zone? Today saw the start of the International Interactive Gaming Festival opening at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Morrison Street. www.edinburghinteractivefestival.com There are a load of world leader companies based here in Scotland in the old Jute; Jam; and Journalism city of Dundee on the east coast of Angus County. www.maps.google.co.uk But then there's *Street Graffiti*? Well some is shite and just a mess to irritate or rebel or make a statement, but not too artistically conceived, however relevent! BUT one We saw tonight in an out of the way location, but seen by enough passing by, went like this .....*SMASH YOUR TELLY! ...B E C O M E THE MEDIA!* ...and done in a blanked out window and on flat cement, in waterproof crayon. SUM ONE thought it through. Like good vibe music, it works for Us! We concur as you can see!? We say "good sound bite!" so-go-do-it to your[..if you] *own* one __N O W__!!!
