The sun rose at the crack of dawn
To signal a brand new day
The earth was bathed in sunshine
Until the clouds moved in to stay

Up above dark clouds were looming
About to give birth to the rain

The seagulls looked for shelter
Amongst the clifftops by the sea
And I was nestled in your arms
The perfect place for me to be

We sat and watched the light show
Until finally the sun broke through
And as I looked into your eyes
