1st Annual Punta Banda Run/Pedal/Paddle
The "Race for Willie", is a mini triathlon. This triathlon has an approxiamately 5k run, 12 mile bike ride, and finishes with a 2 mile paddle.
The purpose of the race is to help bring awareness to the marine animals that reside in the oceans of the northern state of Baja California, Mexico.
It is a fun event. Purpose is to bring people together and have healthy activity with a little competitive sport thrown in. You can attempt this feat individually or as a 3 member team. The prizes will be divided up w/ sex, teams, and age groups. Big Beach Fiesta to follow the race.
Come "Race for Willie" and have a fantastic Baja time.
We are located approximately 17 miles south of Ensenada. Punta Banda is the local community and the race and celebration take place on the Punta Estero.
