Social Transition Orientation Program (S. T. O. P.) is geared toward awareness, in hopes of heightening society's level of consciousness regarding the quality of equality, while maintaining an impartial belief that the rehabilitation process can work! Social Transition Orientation Program offers vast opportunity for involvement in self-help, community coalitions, law-changing and/or enforcement efforts, faith-based initiatives, and youth educational programs. By becoming an ACTIVE member of this prestigious organization, you will become part of a forward movement that enlightens, empowers, motivates and educates people from many diverse backgrounds. We offer support for victim's outreach. This group meets monthly at 547 North Carrollton Ave., Baton Rouge, Louisiana (225) 926-3493.

Objectives:
1.) Change society's opinion regarding prison reform, by monthly highlighting and publishing, a success column regarding ex-offenders.
2.) Form voter blocks throughout the state of Louisiana.
3.) Visit schools to educate children concerning the penalties of crime, in a vast effort to deter crime altogether.
4.) Provide professional profile for offenders, as well as, attend pardon/parole hearings at the offender's request.
