THE SHOCKLEY WEDDING
TO OUR WONDERFUL FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO SHARED IN OUR SPECIAL DAY WE WANT TO THANK YOU. IT IS A DAY WE WILL CHERISH FOREVER. WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE GLORIOUS CEREMONY AND THE RECEPTION WAS NOT ONLY A SIGHT TO BEHOLD BUT WAS SO MUCH FUN. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING. HAWAII IS AMAZING!!!!!! WE LOVE ALL OF YOU.

July 15th 2006 is the day we have chosen to take the final step in combining our lives by becoming Mr. and Mrs. Shaun M. Shockley. We created this page as a memento for us as well as our local family and friends and as a help page for our friends and family who are not fortunate enough to live in such a beautiful place. This page contains information about where we live, the location of the wedding and reception, our kids and much more.
The wedding will be a simple double ring ceremony at 4:00 p.m. and will be held in a small Presbyterian Chapel built in 1854. The chapel is located on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin. Invitations will be sent to a small number of family and friends.
The reception (our way to celebrate with our extended network of friends) will be held in Tartan Hall - also located on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin. Our celebration will begin at 5:00 p.m. We plan to serve heavy finger foods along with the traditional wedding reception snacks throughout the evening. We have a wonderful DJ scheduled (5:00 - 9:00 p.m.) that will keep the event lively with music, karaoke and much more. The reception will be "Family Friendly" so children are welcome. Tartan Hall is located inside the Presbyterian Church complex in Franklin. There is a link to the church's website where you will find a map and information about the complex.
Invitations will be mailed around the first of June. We request that you RSVP no later than June 30th. You may RSVP in two ways from this website. You may go to the guest book or by clicking on the contact link which will open an empty email message. If you choose one of these options please let us know how many adults and how many children plan to join us. The reception atmosphere will be fun nonalcoholic and casual so dress accordingly and wear your dancing shoes :)
There are several hotels in Franklin and the surrounding area. The link for the Hampton Inn is attached to this page but is not your only option. If you need assistance securing accommodations please let us know and we will help in any way we can.

We will be honeymooning in Hawaii. Tracy has never flown commercially and is very nervous so if you have any tips to help her on the flight please post them in our guest book!!!!!!
