SLED RENTAL AGREEMENT
The following sled will be provided to_______________________________, on the _______ day of ___________________, 2____.
Licensed sled carries K&K public liability insurance in the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) to cover the operation of the sled during the event.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1. Payment will be made directly following the event in the sum of $__________
2. In the case of event "rainout" (with no rain date), and the sled is in route, or if the sled is on the grounds when a "rainout" is called, 80% of the contracted amount will be due. If the show has begun when a "rainout" is called, 100% of the contracted amount will be due.
3. If sled is hired prior an event cancellation, sled operator must be notified within 30 days of the event date or event will forfeit complete contracted fee for sled rental.
4. The hiring party will be responsible for all chains, grader blade, & scale equipment supplied by the sled operator (if grader blade or scales are supplied). Lost chains or abuse of scales, (driving off the sides or weighing vehicles over 12,000 lbs.) or scale head, (allowing it to become damp or missing) will be the responsibility of the hiring party. Any damage to grader blade will be the responsibility of hiring party. Hiring party will be responsible for supplying an 8ft by 16ft flat, level surface for scale placement. Hiring party will also be responsible for supplying a capable scale operator to read out weights and keep overweight vehicles from crossing scales.
