Easy alcohol extraction method.
you will need:
2 jars, 1 with seal tight lid
everclear grain alcohol
1 coffee filter
rubberband
stirring rod (not sharp or jagged)
plate
first, break herb up real nice like, no seeds (they contain unpleasureable oils that dont make you feel good + headache), no stems (unless grounded up enough not to penetrate coffee filter later). put fine ground herb in jar with lid. add enough alcohol to cover pile of herb. put on seal tight lid, and shake. keep shaking. more. no, i mean like for about 2 or 3 hours whilst smoking herb, cigs, crack, etc. now you have green liquied with floaties. now you grab the other jar, the coffee filter, and the rubbaband. cup the filter with your fist and fit it into the mouth of the jar so that it is cupped in and hold it with the rubberband. use spoon to put solids from jar into filter first, than carefully (as not to spill tha shit) pour the liquid over the pile thru the filter. eventually, it will stop draining. ++very carefully++ bleed off more liquid by taking the rubber band off and sinching the top(so that the weed is in the filter like a bag) and gently pressing the filter against the inside wall of the jar. you can run more alcohol thru the solids to get more (i usually just add it to other batches later). now you have liquid with no solids with a beautifully green black tint. you can drink this and get sickly fuck up (they call it emerald dragon) but that really sucks. so, to dry it, instead of boiling it off (which takes about 2 hours of focusing on that boring shit and the volitile thc have tendencies of overheating which waists shit) ... i have found it much easier to pour the liquid onto a plate, and let it sit in a hot and ventalated place for about 8 hours(when you wake up the next morning). from my understanding, this can cause thc to oxidize, signaled by turning brown. i have never experienced this, and get a fresh dark green hash after scraping up the oil with a razor blade of the plate (obviously after the alcohol is gone). this shit tastes great depending on the quality of the weed. it usually causes an intense bottom heavy kind of high. i found it is best with a small amount of expensive kb or dro. it seems to get similar effects to smoking massive amounts of the kb. and considering it costs 5 to 10 times more than the cheap mexi commercial that you (or me anyway) make the hash from. i usually get anywhere from 2 to 5 grams of hash, depending on the weed. due to the whole cbd/thc ratio shit, sometimes you can get anywhere from a lot of weaker hash (i wouldn't complain) to small amounts of great hash, so you never can really estimate too closesly the yeild or potency. there are many many factors.
the shit is cool too because it doesn't stain everything like cleaned out pipe resin, which by the way can be thrown in with weed to add a little more finished oil. it will be cleaned from its previous dirty state, but may have more CBDs so do that at your own risk. i just don't like to waist.
