ISLAM'S "KITAB AL-HUDUD" <<>> GUIDE TO INFLICTION OF PUNISHMENTS - This book - "kitab Al-Hudud", pertains to the "Shariah" punishmenbts prescribed by Islam. Punishments for "sin" are divided into two classes , one of which is "HUDUD", providing guidance as to the measure of punishment prescribed by the "holy" Qur'an and the Sunnah.
The second class is the "Ta'zir" which allows the Islamic court to use its discretion regarding the form (flogging, decapitation etc.) of and measure (how many lashes etc.) of punishment.

THE SOURCE OF THE BRUTAL ISLAMIC "SHARIAH" LEGAL SYSTEM <<>> THE LAW OF MOSES <<>> IN THE BIBLE !!
It may surprise you to know that the brutal "Justice" system as practiced under Islamic "SHARIAH" LAW, in such countries as Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Sudan, Nigeria, to mention only a few, is found in THE LAW OF MOSES, the Hebrew religious book called the BIBLE and, in particular its Books of Deuteronomy and Leviticus. The followers of Islamic "Shariah" law demand the death penalty for those who commit "Idolatry" and also for those who encourage others to renounce Islam.
At the time this site is being constructed, a number of foreign Community Aid workers, along with their Afghan colleagues, are on trial in Afghanistan for "Preaching Christianity" and they could face the death penalty. Read Deuteronomy Chapter 13 (in the OLD Testament) which records the punishment given to Hebrews who "worship other gods" and encouraged others to do the same" -- "Kill him, be the first to stone him. Stone him to Death" .(verses 9 and 10) ... is the order that Moses imagined came from his god Yahweh / Jehovah. This is no different from the blatant brutality of Islamic "Shariah" law. Please also note that, although Jesus was a Jew, he was not a fundamentalist. In fact, he rebelled against this religious brutality and did not subscribe to such legalism which cost him his life - through torture to death by flogging and being nailed to a Cross. In the NEW Testament (NOT the OLD) which are the scriptures of the Christian faith, Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said (In the OLD Testament Law of Moses) "Do not commit adultery", but I say to you : "Anyone who looks on a woman and wants to possess her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:27 - in the NEW Testament). When Jewish fundamentalists wanted to stone a woman to death because she was "caught in the very act" of committing adultery - (where was the man? Why didn't thy want to stone him also ??? ) - Jesus rebuked her would-be killers by these famous words
"LET HIM WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE" (JOHN 8:7)
If this loving, gracious criteria of JESUS were to be implemented in Islam, all "Shariah" violence would end !!
I lived in Bangladesh for six years and occasionally visited a five-star hotel in Dhaka where wealthy Middle Eastern Sheiks from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait would fly-in for a weekend of debauchery - with all the alcohol they desired, along with prostitutes from Thailand, India and Bangladesh. They could also enjoy as much tender pork as they wanted - all imported from Singapore. These religious Sheikhs and government officers were the same ones who, back in their own Islamic countries, would administer floggings, stonings to death, amputations of hands and feet and even decapitation for "Crimes against Allah" !! Just as most Christians are not constantly meditating on the violent and brutal "Punishments for Sin" prescribed in the "Imprecatory Psalms" and the Books of Moses, particularly "Leviticus" and "Deuteronomy", most non-fundamentalist Muslims find it more spiritually enlightening to look to the non-violent passages of their scriptures. However, Islamic fundamentalists, such as Osama Bin Laden and his international groups of disciples, look to the negative aspects of the Koran for inspiration to feed their warped minds. The Bin Laden Group was to have launched a massive, violent attack against American Christian tourists in a Jordanian hotel on the first day of the New Millenium - 1 January 2000 - but, fortunately, the plot was uncovered and the terrorists arrested.
These negative and diabolical portions of the "sacred" Koran should be T O T A L L Y - B A N N E D by international law, however, if the Koran is to be censored, so must be those questionable passages in the Bible (Old Testament) from which Muhammed gained his "inspiration".
