At this time (AD 2001) of resurgence of Islamic fundamentalism, we need to be on guard, lest we be deceived into following yet another corrupt religious sect which has the power to enslave us both mentally and physically. Before you decide to follow Islam, check out the character of its "holy" prophet Muhammad who, like his god, Allah, was a killer, with no respect for women (he had up to 10 wives) and one who approved of such evil practices as stoning to death and cutting off hands and feet for "punishment", a practice which is carried on to this day in "Shariah" Law of Islam.
Their god was anti-Semitic, but then we also need to remember that the Jews had a concept of God as a killer - a "warrior wrathful god" as can be seen in The Law of Moses, particularly the books of Deuteronomy and Leviticus. Islam is based on "Wrath", "Punishments", "Blood" and the "Sword" and does not qualify for our allegiance. However, you be the judge. It was Jesus, a revolutionary, non-fundamentalist Jew who rebelled against this false religion, at the cost of his own life through flogging and crucifixion, and by his exemplary character, won the hearts of positive-thinking people world-wide.
THE PATHOGENISIS OF FUNDAMENTALISM I have many lovely Muslim friends, people with gentle natures, who would never consider hurting a Jew, Christian or other brand of "Infidel", however, when I questioned them, few knew the passages in the Qur'an, released in this site, that breathe hatred against any person who is not a Muslim. Similarly, I know many Christians who have never read parts of the Bible, such as the"Imprecatory Psalms" which do not portrait the true nature of God as we see Him / Her in Jesus. Also, I have Hindu friends who do not have arrogant and possessive attitudes towards women as seen in the "Laws of Manu". All these friends - positive-thinkers - are NON fundamentalists. Somehow, we have to purge all religions of fundamentalism that we may see ALL religions as a reflection of the passionate Human Quest to find

WHY IS ISLAM AND ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM, IN PARTICULAR, SO ANTI-FEMALE ? - The Qur'an has been influenced by the Bible and Muslims who take the Old Testament literally, say that the problem of "Sin" is mainly due to Eve and she represents ALL women ! They believe that Eve was "cursed" (menses uses to be called "The Curse" ) and ... "in pain and suffering shall she bring forth children" (Genesis 3:16). That is a monstrous statement and Fundamentalists say it came from the very mouth of God ! It makes women not only suffer pain but makes her subservient to the male. Some Fundamentalists believe that by inflicting pain on women they are actually "helping God" in his act of punishing !!!
