EPISODE THIRTEEN
'HOMER VS. LISA AND THE 18TH COMMANDMENT'
I have to say, I think this episode is overrated. perhaps not too much, but in my opinion this is nothing more than an average typical S2 ep, and yet it gets labelled as so much more. well, it's not. Watching the ep, I failed to laugh more than about three times, and other than those the funny moments weren't exactly coming thick and fast. here it does excel is in the other two sections however. Its charcater is spot-on, and Homer, Bart, Marge and lisa are all perfect down to a 'T', making the ep more enjoyable. The plot is also a good one, and combines the sub-plot with the main plot well. But despite all this, it lacks in humour, which is what makes a good episode. So I don't feel compelled to give it any more than a B-. Which is exactly what I'm gonna give it.
