SEASON TWO
EPISODE ELEVEN
'ONE FISH, TWO FISH, BLOWFISH, BLUEFISH
Here we have another great; at one point my second favourite episode ever. It hasnt retained that status, but i still love it, and it is one of the best examples of what the show could achieve already by season two. This is one of the first episodes that combines emotion and humour, and is perhaps stil the best combination episode now. the sadness of Homer and Marge, the innocent children, and Dr Hibbert's.. well, Dr.Hibbert-ness. The characterization is backed up by a great plot with a pleasing resolution, great one-liners and funny scenes (the seven phases is brilliant, as are Homer's three sentences to get you through life), and lovely, true emotion (Homer's list is great). All in all, a very pleasing episode; another early classic that perhaps came before its time. Easily an A+.
