WESLEY'S REVIEWS
SEASON TWO
EPISODE NINE
'ITCHY AND SCRATCHY AND MARGE'

Our first dedicated I&S episode. Everyone cheer! .. Fine, don't. Anyway, this is a landmark ep in more than just that; it was the first to satirize censorship so brilliantly. Yep, brilliantly. This is another great ep. And it's not just for those two reasons. Oh, no. The thing that makes this ep stand out from many others is the pure gag-a-minute factor. this episode is full of witty lines, great exchanges, and visual gags it's amazing. Perhaps my fave line from the episode is Homer's "I never knew mice lived such interesting lives!". Classic to say the very least. Marge, Bart and Lisa also get their fair share of funny moments, as does Roger Myers in his first appearance. Meyers is infact a great charcater himself, and in addition Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa are well characterized throughout (through perhaps not as much the latter.) All this and a nice plot to back it up equals mwah! A great.

Character: 8/10
Plot: 9/10
Humour: 10/10

OVERALL: 89%; A-.
