'DANCIN HOMER'
Well, I might as well come out and say it. This is the worst of season 2. It's head and shoulders below the rest. It looks like an S1 reject. And it frankly sucks. That's not to say it's totally bad.. just almost. One the bright side, it's a pretty good plot, has a brilliant song, and some of the gags, rare as they are, are funny. But there's more bad than good, unfortunately. The ep is almost totally lacking jokes and laughs (though the few that are there are good), and so earns a fair few minus points there. Sure eps don't need humour, if they have enough of the rest.. and this doesn't. It also has Homer totally out of character, in my opinion, and the plot is used pretty badly. Overall, a bad ep. Not terrible, but an appalling classic-era ep.
