'BART GETS AN 'F'
Ah,the season opener of season 2. And WHAT a season opener. The highest-rated ep in the US ever, perhaps deservedly so, this is one of the most acclaimed episodes ever. Another Bart episode, this time combining brilliant humour with deep emotion, lovely character, a great plot, and a wonderful winter spirit. The jokes and subtle humour come thick and fast, and the ep has emotion and spirit to die for. It has a fairly basic plot, which is built on in many ways, and Bart's character as it always was, is at its very best.. a mix of naughty-boy and good-boy. This episode is one accepted as one of the very best by the hardcore fans, and I agree with them wholeheartedly. A+.
