'SOME ENCHANTED EVENING'
Ahh, here it is. The ultimate best of season one. This episode is brilliant. Originally to be the first to air, this well-rounded ep was delayed due to animation problems. That doesn't affect this ep's premiere quality though; and infact I like this ep so much it's in my top 25 episodes. You may ask 'why?'. The answer for me is really, quite simple. First of all, I love the plot. It's kind-of two plots really.. Homer and Marge's night away; and Ms Botz the babysitter bandit. Both are good though; and they gel together very well. Secondly; the character. Ms Botz's character is perfect, down to a T. Her voice is great, and fits her looks and personality well. Bart, Lisa, Homer and Marge are in character too, and Maggie is great! And finally, the most important reason: the humour. The ep is loaded with great gags, everything from Ms Botz's lines, to Marge going kinda crazy, to Bart knocking Botz out, sucking Maggie's dummy. It's all so perfect; and that's why I'm prepared to give this ep an A+. Top.
