WESLEY'S REVIEWS
SEASON ONE
EPISODE SEVEN
CALL OF THE SIMPSONS

This episode is possibly the first spot-on Simpsons episode. It has a brilliant story, all the characters are in character, and the episode is packed with humour. And that's all it needs. Homer and Bart are completely in character, and Marge and Lisa are also right on. The plot is great, with a genius conclusion and wrap-up, and the "Maggie and the bears" subplot is funny, and also cute! The story is full of jokes, and the idea of homer being Bigfoot is just priceless! This ep is often considered too much like an old family-sitcom type of thang, but whereas I agree, IMO that is most definitely not a bad thing.
So, overall, this is almost perfect, and another great early example of the show.
