Reviews - Jake's Reviews - Season 1 - 'Bart The Genius
Ah, I remember 'Bart The Genius' well. (Maybe because I just watched it on DVD.) A true classic if ever there was one. For a start, the storyline is great. It is executed excellently. But there's more. It has many funny moments, standouts including Bart's working-out of the train scene in his head.Also notable is the Scrabble game at the beginning -'Kywijibo-a big fat balding American ape.'
Bart and Martin are completely in character, and Ms rabappel is at her best. We don't see much of Homer, Marge and Lisa but who cares?! Great story with everyne in character and lots of LOL moments. The best of Season 1, IMO.
