Quite a few big changes, both for best eps and worst eps! No new entries; just a load of movers. Notable movers include 'And Maggie Makes Three' making my top 3, and a drop for 'Behind The Laughter' from #6 to #24. Next update in November.
TOP 25 BEST
25. Lisa's Substitute
Regarded by hardcore fans as one of the very very best, this episode is probably the most emotional and meaningful ever. With excellent beyond excellency scores in the character and plot departments, it has enough humour to back it up.
24.Behind The Laughter:
An amazing spoof packed with gags, making you laugh the whole way through. Best of season 11, one
of the best of all time.
23. Wizard Of Evergreenn Terace:
Homers inventions are hilarious! This episode is FULL of laughs. And it comes with a great plot, and good characterization for Marge, Bart and Lisa too.
22.Bart On the Road:
I'm not sure what makes this episode so great, but someting does. Nelson? Principal Skinner? Milhouse? Who knows? But it's great. That's all there is to it.
21. The Way We Was:
Very good flashback episode where you cant help but feel sorry for Homer! Nice stuff from Bart and Lisa too, and Artie Ziff is a brilliant character.
20. King-Size Homer:
Very funny, despite what some people say. Although Marge gets a bit annoying, the rest of the episode completely makes up for it. Particularly Homer's computer antics.
19.Some Enchanted Evening:
The best episode of Season 1, despite being pretty disturbing! The two plots gel well together.
24. Bart Vs Australia:
This light-hearted look at Australia is probably the best 'vacation episode to date, with lots of pokes at Australian society.
17.When Flanders Failed:
Flanders' finest moment and a top ending. Homer is brilliant, throughout, and the plot is frankly brilliant.
16. Lisa's First Word
Flashback episodes are brilliant, and this is no exception. Lovely characterization, funny all through, and a classic ending. A must.
15.The Springield Connection:
Marge's 2nd best episode. The whole Hill Street Blues parody thing was great!
14. Scenes from The Class Struggle in Springfield
One of two of my favourite Marge episodes. Filled with funny lines, and a lovely plot to boot. Lisa and Bart are at their best, too.
13. Last Exit to Springfield:
Memorable for the 'Dental Plan - Lisa needs braces!' sequence and the song. Excellent, and another regarded as one of the very best by the hardcore fans. Not surprising, with just the right mix of plot, humour and character.
12. Rosebud
Mr Burns and Maggie rule this episode, which is mainly character-based. The character and plot is brilliant, and there are plenty of jokes there too.
11.Saturdays Of Thunder
Here we have Homer and Bart at their brilliant best. Both are well characterized, and the plot works well. Add to that almost constant humour, and you get a classic ep.
10.Treehouse of Horror V:
Certainly the best of the TOH's. All three stories succeed, as does the fantastic end musical number.
9.Stark Raving Dad:
Four words:'Pink', 'shirt', 'Michael', 'Jackson'. That's all you need to know. Great.
8.'Round Springfield:
Aww! A very touching episode with a good song.
7.King Of The Hill:
One of the first eps I saw, and never forgotten. The amount of jokes and cameos are OTT, making this excellent.
6.Trilogy Of Error:
Has to be watched to understand why this is so good. Unexplainable depth, excellence, and above all, humour.
5.Radio Bart:
Memorable for the 'We're Sending Our Love Down The Well' song,this is fantastic. The stuff at Wal E Weasels just sweetens the deal! Sting is great too.
4.The Springfield Files:
Add up: tons of laughs from Homer, Burns, Bart and Marge, the spotty boy, Leonard Nimoy cameo, the real voices of Mulder and Scully and what do you get?? A top episode.
3. And Maggie Makes Three:
What can I say?! Funny, touching, happy, sad... so many emotions make a good episode! And the best ending ever!
2.Homers Barbershop Quartet:
A 'Beatles' fans favourite. Highlights include the songs, Barney on the mens room floor, and the car boot sale sketch at the beginning. Add the fact the episode is loaded with Beatles' refs and you've got yourself the 2nd-best episode ever.

Simpsoncalifragalisticexpialla-D'oh!-cious
Where to begin?!?! Its high points include:the marvellous creation of Shary Bobbins;Bobbins' voice;cameos from Willie, Burns, Smithers and Barney;the 4 fantastic songs;the Krusty Komedy Klasik;I&S...and that doesn't even cover half of it!. Add the fact the whole episode is a parody of Mary Poppins and you've got yourself the BEST EPISODE EVER.
