THE SIMPSONS:A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVOURITE FAMILY
This amazingly in-depth official guide covers Seasons 1-8, and along with complete lists of D'ohs, Mmms, Couch Gags, Krusty Products, Itchy and Scratchy Episodes, and Voice Cast listings, it also includes a few framegrabs, a list of best quotes and conversations, songs, "stuff you may have missed", references to movies/music/tv AND a character bio for each episode!
So, overall I have to say that no-one can call themselves a loyal fan of the show without this. Despite a few errors and lack of up-to-date-edness, this is still a worthy purchase for old and new fans alike.(Although it is a bit pricey...)

Continuing the 'Complete Guide' series, with this book covering Seasons 9 and 10. Pretty much the same as the last one,although notable mentions go to the Troy McClure tribute, the collection of Songwords, and the amount of episodes with double-page spreads:about twice the amount of the first book.
So, all in all, a worthy purchase. Perhaps not quite as valid as the first book, but if you want the Guide more up to date, you have to buy this.Although it's still expensive...

And so we come to volume No. 3, with Seasons 11 and 12. Again,pretty much the same thing, but with some great new features:double page spreads for EVERY episode(except for TOH's which get 4 pages), a complete list of the Church Marquees, more updated lists, and some great production art and character designs.All in all, another worthy purchase.
