New Simplified Bible Yahwist
Coming Soon YAHWEH...New Simplified Bible, base text is the Yahowah Version. The NSB Translator is busy preparing this new Yahwist version. It will contain the popular divine name "Yahweh."
Welcome to the "New Simplified Bible Yahowah Version translated, prepared and edited by James R Madsen and M.C. Greenfield. It consists of the base text of the NSB (c) 2003. God’s Name, Yahowah (Yahweh), is found throughout the "New Simplified Bible Yahowah Version." The four basic Hebrew letters used to represent God’s Name in modern languages are YHWH. They are from the four consonants written 6,828 times in the original "Old Testament" or Hebrew Scriptures. These four letters are called the Tetragrammaton. They have been translated: “the LORD,” “Yahweh,”and “Jehovah." Some translations have even used the impersonal titles “the Self Existent,” “the Eternal” and "God." A recient translation simply keeps the original Hebrew letters of the Tetragrammaton "YHWH" in the English text.
We do not know the exact spelling or pronunciation, however the name "Yahweh" is close. This new translation will use Yahweh with the middle vowel inserted into its proper place, thus the name "Yahowah." The important thing is that we recognize God’s name with respect and out of love. Features Monotheistic God
The New Simplified Bible is not Trinitarian biased. It does not espouse, adopt, embrace, or promote the Trinity. It accurately features the true monotheistic God of the Holy Scriptures. Many Greek words have multiple meanings in English. Translators use the English words and meanings that best represent their theological beliefs and the beliefs of the Bible translating agencies for whom they work. The New Simplified Bible translates to the complete context of the Holy Scriptures. It honestly reflects the Bible's own statement, "Yahowah" is God! There is no one besides Him!" "Yahowah our God is one God!" (Deuteronomy 4:35; 6:4)
Why Yahowah?
How did Bible researchers get "Jehovah" or "Yahweh" from the consonant letters YHWH? They added the missing vowels as follows: YaHoWaH and transliterated to JeHoVaH. You need to remove the middle vowel "o" in order to transliterate to Yahweh. The translator of the New Simplified Bible Yahwist Version respects all names transliterated from YHWH and considered using each and everyone of them, however Yahowah sounds most like the four letter Tetragramaton....and it includes the middle vowel.
