BUYERS v SELLERS
Sales and marketing isn’t rocket science, but it is a science. To be a true sales professional, you need to know how the numbers work and you also need to understand your market and some basic psychology of people, (the buyers and sellers). It is also very important to understand the needs of businesses and how they operate, from start up small enterprises, to large multinational conglomerates.
Natural sales ability is acknowledged as “Born” in some people. However to become a true sales professional takes time.
Invitation
My former career as a motor mechanic taught me that, in order to make things work properly, they have to be studied, dismantled, repaired and rebuilt. (Sometimes, more than once!)
I discovered that I was excellent at what I do…I make things work..(even if I have to use a big hammer at times!)
Life has taught me that the same principles also apply to us as individuals and in business…(and sometimes we need a kick up the backside!)
I take big risks, have been let down by a few people and I have let a few people down. Along the way I have made some fantastic mistakes!! I have also reaped the most amazing rewards….(no money yet though), we learn from our mistakes and pay for them. The lessons are free. Money will come soon….
After many years in sales and sales management, having learned from both successes and failures, I now have many of the skills needed to assist in building and running a successful business. By learning to recognize and analyze my own weaknesses and strengths, I have also learned to identify the same in others.
I have also learned that there is a much greater chance of success by working with people with common goals and who have the skills that I don't.
A talent for teambuilding has given me the ability to recognize abilities in others that will have mutual benefits for us, our customers and the companies we work for.
My sales management training got me interested in personal development and coaching. To help people develop the skills to be the best they can be at whatever they choose to do!!
How cool would that be? How great would it be to help people get what they want out of life and grow and prosper yourself on the way?
I’m in debt up to my ears but doing what I love to do with people I care about and choose to work with….the money will come...Trust me I’m a Sales Professional!
Financial freedom is a relative term...For some it means not starving, for others it means untold wealth.
Most people settle for a regular income from a safe, secure job, which is great if you love what you are doing ..which we do.
But what if you hated your job? What would or could you do? Can you make changes and are you brave enough to? Would you take a big risk to get a big reward, or do you like to play safe? What if you had no choice? What choice would you make?...(work that one out)…if you are not getting the results you want, there must be something else you could do. Or do you accept your lot?
If you are not happy and balanced, what else would you rather be doing? What could you change, about you or your circumstances? What can you do to make a difference?
What changes do you want?
How will you make those changes ?
What will be the consequences of making, or not making changes?
