USAF 319th SEPERATION/MEDICAL HOLD DORM
so here i am now working at wendys to make a living and struggling for money when i was supposed to be a c-130 crew chief mechanic. why am i here now you may ask? well its because the air force screwed me over. here is the story....
so its 30 july 2002, i was just out of high school and i know nothing of the real world but what im told. struggling with my relationships with parents and very few friends i leave.
its the typical thing, you go stay at a hotel and the next day go to MEPS early in the morning for a quick physical and waiting. finally we get to the air port to be flown to san antonio texas. then you sit under an overhang and wait. remind you this was like 3am.
so i get to my dorm and stand by my new bed that im suppose to have for the next 6 and 1/2 weeks. top bunk and i can barely reach it. showers were hell cuz your being yelled at and everything to hurry. strip right there and get in the showers like a hurd of sheep waiting for a haircut. (i know bad anology but if you know me its what i am). finally its time to sleep and you hear many including myself cry to sleep if not loud silently like me of the mistake i thought i made.
everything contiues with inspections, crazy running and physical training and like 5 minutes to eat, learning to do drill, coustoms and courticies, and all that fun stuff.
i made it to the 3rd week of training where i hurt my back. it hurt just to carry my pack with bdu tops in it but i sucked it up til the end of the day when i couldnt carry everything back. that day i went to er and they said i had back spasms and gave me a muscle relaxer.
