Gangmaster** - a minor upgrade to close to 7.5 with readable subs. Ku Feng, Jason Pai Piao etc. This is a rough print to begin with so this is about as good as it gets(picture quality wise)

Grand Substitution, The - an opera type singing drama with Ivy Ling Po. This is off a VCD, however unlike some I've seen is pretty good. = ) I'd rate it from a strong 7.5-8.0 with subtitles.

Imperious Princess - non shaw film from around 1980/late 70's with Ivy Ling
Po in this singing drama. This movie is significant in that it was the last
time Tsin Ting sang opposite Ling Po in a movie. I'd rate the quality a
solid 8.5.
Imposter, The - Chen Kuan Tai/ David Chiang 1975 with subs. (7) Not SB.
Inframan - an upgrade to a solid 8.0 with dub. This is SB! Shaw's installment in the "Ultraman" world!
Inside Forbidden City - Old drama type film 1965 with singing. (8) Subs.

Killer Priest Comes Back, The - Samurai film with subs 8.0 - Non shaw film
Killer, The(Sacred Knives?) - Wang Ping/subs. (8) 1971/72?
Killer Army aka Rebel Intruders - Venoms (8) English dub/1980 Good.
Killer Clans - an upgrade to 7.0 with readable subs. The print is a bit
pinkish but if you adjust your color, looks a bit better.. Color is light
and original print looks worn.. It is quite watchable and a good film.
King Cat - Lo Lieh/Ching Li 1967 (8) Subs.
King Eagle - Ti Lung. Good action! 1969 with subs (8)
King With My Face, The - Li Li-Li 1967 Old time drama/subs (8)
Kingdom And The Beauty, The - mid 60's film that is opera style/singing and
NOT SB(?) but in the classic Shaw Bros. style. 7+ with subs.(the original
print is a bit worn)
Knight Of Knights, The - Lily Li 1966 Swordsplay with subs. (8)
Kung Fu Instructor - Ti Lung, Wong Yu (8.5) Dub. Good film.
Kung Fu Vengeance aka Vengeance - Ti Lung/David Chiang (9-) 1970 Sub. Clean print.

Lady Is The Boss - Kara Hui Ying-Hung 1983 (6 1/2) Dub?
Lady Of Steel - Cheng Pei Pei, Yueh Hua/ 1969 SubsS. (8+)***Last 15 minutes
has some waviness. A good film though.
Lady of Steel - this is another copy in a 6 1/2, Subs. Not as good picture
as my other copy but not fuzziness at end. Perhaps I can do some editing
and put this ending to my better print..

Legend Of The Fox - with Kuo Chui(lizard) of the Venoms (6.5 to 7.0) 1979 Mostly readable subs.
Legend Of The Owl - Non Shaw film with David Chiang (8+) Subs? Late 70's?
Legend Of The 7 Golden Vampires - David Chiang/Peter Cushing! (9.5 -10)Good! "Uncut" version.
Legendary Weapons Of Shaolin - Gordon Liu/Fu Sheng - (8)Dub Good film.
Life Combat aka Lifes Gambles - with Venoms/Fu Sheng (7+) Dub 1978/LBX with color a bit faint.
Very watchable.
Little Dragon Maiden - 7.0/ Korean subs over eng. subs at times
Long Chase, The - Li Ching 1970 (8) Sub.
Long Road To Gallantry - Chen Kuan Tai 1983 (8)
Lost Kung Fu Secrets, The - 80's film with David Chiang/non SB (8) Dub.
Lotus Lamp, The - Cheng Pei Pei/Li Ching/1965 with subs/singing (8)
Love Eternal aka "Liang Shan Po, Chow Ying Tai" - a shaw film with subtitles and not kung fu. Made in the 60's with possibly Ivy Ling Po as the main star. 7.5+ picture quality.
***** I also have 1 other old drama film which either star Ivy
Ling Po and or/ Lin Dai in a classic old style singing drama. The quality
rates from 7.5 to 8+ with subs. The title is either just cut off or only in
chinese, which sadly I can't translate.. Anyway I know I don't have it listed previously.
If you are a fan of these films, you can't go wrong with either.
Lover's Blade - with subs/early 80's? (8)
Lover's Rock - old drama style, not kung fu 8.0+ SB/Subs. 1964
Conflict and jealousy erupts in a small fishing village as an outsider gets a job as a mechanic with a boat-owning fisherman (Wong Chung Hsun) and falls in love with a young woman played by Cheng Pei Pei (in what may be her first starring role). Unknown to the outsider is that arrangements have been made for the young woman to marry the fisherman. Directed by Pan Lei. Mandarin language with subs.

Mad Monkey Kung Fu - Liu Chia-Liang (7 1/2) Dub?
Maid From Heaven, A - Ivy Ling Po in this Shaw film. This is another
singing/old time drama . Looks kind of interesting with many pretty women in their lovely dresses. I'd rate this a 7.5 as the original print looks a little worn. Subs.
Magic Blade, The - with Ti Lung. Fair print about 6+ with hardly readable
subtitles and watchable action. Rare film!
Magnificent Swordsman, The - about an 8.0 1968 Subs.
Magnificent Trio, The - Wang Yu/Lo Lieh 1966 with subs (8+)
Magnificent Warriors - Fu Sheng/David Chiang 1977 (8) Dub.
Man Called Hero - Ekin Cheng in this good film. 8 1/2 Sub. Produced by same
company that did Storm Riders. Not Shaw Brothers film.
Man Of Iron aka Warrior Of Steel - Chen Kuan Tai (7.5+) 1972 Dub
Masked Avengers - Venoms (8) 1981 Good Action! Dub.
Master Of Disaster aka The Treasure Hunters - Fu Sheng/Gordon Liu(8)Dub
Master Of Kung Fu, The - Ku Feng As Wong Fei Hung! (8) Dub 1975
Master Of The Flying Guillotine - Mid 70's Non SB film with Wang Yu (8)
Master Killer aka 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978) - subs /7.5 and easy to watch.
Lau Kar Leung's masterpiece which is arguably the quintessential martial arts film which stars Gordon Lau Kar Fai as the Shaolin monk, San Te, a role he became most identified with. The print runs five minutes shorter than the English dub, but is widescreen and in the original Mandarin dialect with subs.
Master Killer aka 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978) - in english dub and I'd give it a 8.0.

say this would rate a 7.5 and very watchable! A classic. 1978
Mermaid, The - 1965 opera style film with Ivy Ling Po. "8"/subs Sorry... I
just checked this film and the picture flucuates from fair to very good. I
don't know what happened to this one..
Mighty One, The - with subs(8+) Looks good. Ivy Ling Po
Mighty Peking Man aka Goliathon - SB'S 70'S tale of a giant ape! (9)Dub
Mirror And The Lichee - Ivy Ling Po In This Musical Drama (8) 1967 Sub
Mission Impossible - SB film with Ching Li. 7+ with subs. Swordsplay.
Mist Over Dream Lake - a modern day drama and 60's shaw film.(not kung fu) I'd rate this close to an 8.0 with subtitles/mandarin.
Monkey, The aka Monkey Goes West? - I'd rate this about a 7.5 with
subs. This has some swordsplay, however I wouldn't say this is really a
kung fu film. An interesting story about gods, humans and a monk. 1966.
Ho Meng Hua's film adaption of the famous Chinese novel "Sai Yu Gei" (Journey To The West) based on the famous pilgrimage of a monk who traveled from China to India in quest of Buddhist scriptures. Stars Yueh Hua as the Monkey King, Diana Chang and Chung Wen. Mandarin language with subs.
Mortal Combat aka Return Of The 5 Deadly Venoms aka Crippled Avengers - Venoms!!! Excellent Film with great kung fu action. (8+) Dub.
My Dream Boat - modern day drama and 60's made shaw film.(not kung fu) Subtitles/mandarin.
This print rates a 7.0 with readable subs.
My Young Auntie - Kara Hui Ying Hung (7+) Wide screen. Good. 1981 Dub.

Naval Commandos - I have two prints of this one. One is darker with barely readable subs and the other is better with a lighter picture and ENGLISH dub! The picture I'd say is a 7.0, but watchable. This is a rare film. Adjust the brightness/color on your set and it's even better.
Na Cha The Great - First Fu Sheng? 1974 Dubbed. (7+)
New One Armed Swordsman, The - Full screen with dub and a clean 8.5
New One Armed Swordsman, The aka Triple Irons - D. Chiang(8+) 1971 Sub.
Nine Demons, The - stars the Venoms. (9) Upgrade! Subs. Non Shaw film.

Does anyone have any movies with Ivy Ling Po(singing dramas) that I don't have? If you do, I would like to trade for them! My dad is a big fan of her. THANKS!!!
I'm sure there are more Shaw Brothers titles I'm forgetting or other movies I would like to check out. Also I'm looking for "upgrades" or better copies for some of the movies I already have(or letterbox), so don't be shy and contact me to work a TRADE or if you have a question/comment. I enjoy meeting fellow fans!
I can also make you a copy of any of my films for a small charge as well. (NTSC VHS format only) I'm also looking for any Shaw Brothers films that are in original chinese language with english subtitles that I don't have.(or I only have in english dub)
