This duo is not new to the game. Jorge aka “SELF” and Shawn aka “SHIZ” is keeping the torch lit. Their first single entry, the bass-heavy track “BEEZ LIKE THAT” hit the airwaves as the third most-added song nationwide and exiting the charts in the top three slot. Their sophomore single release “HANG’M” once again pushed the reigns and stood up to the sophomore jinx also hitting the charts, the fifth most added nationwide single and also existing the charts in the top five.
Their double single success continues to add to their powerful underground movement. They have consistently shown why they are one of the best underground chart toppers in the game as well as establishing themselves as premier ghostwriters and producers.
Now with the success of the third single “OH NO” the
rap/rock collaborative song, has placed ETCETERA and
the “OH NO” single on the ballot for nomination of
“Best Rap Song” at the 47Th Annual Grammy Awards.
Now with the new joint venture with Blaze The World Records / EMI Recordings, set to release in 2005 their fourth single
“WELCOME 2 BROOKLYN” a predicted nationwide anthem, followed by their first major label debut album, will definitely catapault ETCETERA into mainstream.
