tours,
10/5
well here it is I finally have time to do my guided tour of white water safari here it is
before the line: say you have just got off of the boomerange and your hot you despretly look for a water ride you walk past the scat about and remeber seeing a river raft ride when you rode voodoo earlier that day, but where is the entrance? You look for the shadyest route either left or right you choose right you walk past the bird theater and see the sighn WHITE WATER SAFARI: DARE TO EXPLORE.
Well you walk past that sighn and atomaticly theres something confusing, two ways to go left or right, well unless its right before closing you should see a huge line on the right,so thats were you go.
QUEE: imidetly after walking in the building you see a sighn 60 MINUTE WAIT FROM HERE. You groan but think to yourself " well it looks like a fun ride and a good portion of the quee is shaded"
about three minutes in line you see a sighn WARNING YOU MAY GET WET: POSSIBLEY SOAKED ON THIS ADVENTURE. Thats alittle reasuring.
The indore part of the quee has three strips of line, each taking about ten minutes. After finally hitting the outdoor portion of the line you think your about to get on but then you see another sighn 30 MINUTE WAIT FROM HERE. But don't you worry this is the entertaining part of the quee. Here you can see almost the whole ride, after a half hour your finally onthe ride!
ride: hurry up and buckle cause the thrills start almost atomaticley, you pass under a bridge and plunge down a small slope, next you pass through a deep dark tunnel where some of the strongest rapids take place. After a little drop you pass by water guns, if luck serves you an onlooking guest will blast you with a water spray and get you soaked. Now oh no whats that sound WATERFALL but as you turn the corner you disapointingly relize that your olny passing directley under one wait PASSING DIRECTLEY UNDER A WATERFALL!! Prepare for one heck of a splash!!!!!Whew I thought I was a gonner for sure, well after passing by some stone ( look for a gargoyle mounted on one)you see the butterfly habbitat and the "ape themed" atractions, then whoa sudenly the current picks you up and you go speeding by a waterfall, but this time no splash, oh well cause were coming by some HUGE rapids!! After a VERRY bumpy encounterwith the rapids you pass by another set of guns If the onlookers hit you scream "THANK YOU" because it feels good. After seeing voodoo you come across flamingos say hi to them as you turn to the final rapids. Then you go up a decent sized lift hill. You exit laughing. "well that was fun want to do it agin"
update 2/8/04 news for the 04 sesson came in and I couldn't be happier. The park instead of gettting another coaster is going out of its way to improve it's look. Small details like more drinking fountains and cleaner footpaths. Also the IWERKS theater is welcoming in an exlusive film based on the stargate tv shows! Also I heard a rumor that the acclaimed Russia on Ice might be returning but this is just a rumor.
