The Prophecy Page Seven Continues...

And then shall He send His angels, and shall gather His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven". Mark 13:24-27. After the Lord has invaded this world with heaven's angelic forces, and stormed the valley of Meggiddo "this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their mouth" Zechariah 14:12. It is during this time "yet he shall come to his end and none shall help him". Daniel 11:45. As for those saints whom side with the Lord, and have suffered affliction for God sake it will be a "manifest token of the righteous judgement of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompence tribulation to them that trouble you; and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus Christ shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power..." 2 Thessalonians 1:5-9. "...the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up". 2 Peter 3:10. Concerning this leader in particular Daniel states, "I beheld even til the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame". Daniel 7:11. Nevertheless, this leader will not go down without his partner in crime. His False Prophet will hold a global sway over many nations, captivate and mesmerize millions of followers, and be a brilliant economic strategist. "Thus saidth the Lord God; because thine heart is lifted up; and thou hast said, I am God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas, yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures; By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thine riches..." Ezekiel 28:2-5. The scriptures reveal to us before many of these things come to pass many whom are followers of the Lord today will lose faith, and no longer be true to their calling, and leave the faith. The question Jesus asked, "...Nevertheless when the Son of man comes will He find faith on the earth ?" Luke 18:8. This is why intercessory prayer on each other's behalf is vital. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God". 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. The destruction of the temple by Roman troops in 70 A.D. was but a forerunner of what is to come. In special instructions for today's Christians living in Israel Jesus informed us who would be saved: "But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved". He also informed us when the end would be "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come". Matthew 24:13-14. Many people want to know more about the United States in the scriptures. If anything this message probably touches on America. Americans reportedly finance about 85% of the gospel message to the various nations of the world with Canadians making up another 5%. The other 10% is made up by Western Europe and other nations. Nevertheless, He further speaks to Christians in Israel "When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (Whoso reads let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return for his clothes. And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray that your flight be not in winter, neither on the sabbath day:....Matthew 24:15-20. In other places in the bible the Lord compares this running as to literally drop everything, and run for your life as Lot's wife during the destruction of Sodom and Gommorha. It will be a time to literally test how much these worldly/material things means to us. The book of 1 Timothy 6:6-9 states, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they which will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted after they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses". As for those people whom have children during this period it will become difficult to run, because they will be slowed down. Also, He says that those Christians in that particular area of the world should pray that they will not have to flee on the Sabbath day in particular. I speculate public transportation on the sabbath in Israel would be unable to deal with such a crisis.
I want to make another note, while many observers are watching the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to see if a sacrificial temple will be rebuilt (That may be the case). If we note that 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 almost parallels Ezekiel 28:2-5, we should also take into consideration that the "Anti-Christ" (Which means 'Against-Christ' or 'Instead of Christ') may have very well have been a Christian (Or claim to be one) whom 'fell away' in the sence of attempting to supersede his own policies beyond the Lord's truths contained in the Bible. In Luke 17:20-21 Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God comes not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here, or Lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you". But can other things be within you as well ? The phrase 'temple of God' is also used in scripture beyond 2 Thessalonians 2:4. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you ? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are". 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. So then ? The human being his/herself is the temple, but only God inside that human being can make them holy. The passage in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 says he 'as God' not 'is God', but 'as God' sitteth in the temple(human vessel) of God. Now let's ask ourselves who always wanted to be as God and worshipped ? See Isaiah 14:12-15. Further proof that a human vessel can be considered a temple is John 2:18-19, in whence, Jesus stated, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up (He was refering to His body)". This false prophet pretender has/will not only resist God's holy laws, but has introduced pagan holidays into the church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (While I'm on the subject I might as well mention Mary mother of Jesus was indeed a sinner in need of redemption as others). Nevertheless, 'Anti-Christ' means 'against-Christ', and just b ecause a person is chosen in the church does not mean they will always remain there, or retain Christian morals. When Jesus spoke of Judas Iscariot He said, "Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil ?...for he it was that should betray Him, being one of the twevle". John 7:70-71. Initially, the Apostle Judas (Whom was later replaced by Paul. Acts 9:1-21.) was this 'son of perdition'. John 17:12; Psalm 41:9. He was considered by many to be a friend of God. The way John states it in 1 John is "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might manifest that they were not all of us". 1 John 2:19. Moreover, when His disciples asked Him if they should uproot the tares that were growing alongside the wheat, "But He said, Nay, less while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together within the harvest: and in the end of the harvest I will say to the reapers Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn". Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43. By the way tares look very similar to wheat. However, if one wants to read more about tares try 2 Peter 2. Now 2 Thessalonians speaks about a future 'son of perdition'.
