His fighting method has a way of making all the people around him appear amazingly inferior or stupid if u pleeze...it's really just kewl to watch. =) Here, I've scraped up a little taste of the Sesshoumaru style and techniques are like.Enjoy^_~
The Style-
When engaged in a battle, Sesshoumaru is as cool and calm as ever. His thoughts are collected and his body moves as though it requires no effort at all(u could compare it to almost walkin on da moon). On top of all that, his speed is incredible...and he dodges attacks almost as if it comes natural to him. In the blink of an eye, he can be right in front of you when he was actually a good distance away from you just a moment ago.
Most of the time that we get to see him in action is when he fights his half-brother, Inuyasha whom he always try's to kill. Unlike Inuyasha whose rash methods of fighting often consists of just straightforward slashing and attacking with the use of sheer strength and his Tetsusaiga, Sesshoumaru doesn't bother with all that. Instead, he uses his speed to gracefully (the very manly kind of gracefully) move out of the attacks (while sometimes looking disgusted at the weakness of the opponent or even bored) until he either feels like fighting back or he sees an opportunity for him to execute an attack that would completely smack his opponent on their ass while basically saying wow u suck(though he never really says that).
He's also extremely observant of his surroundings and reacts quickly to respond to them. He rarely shows any emotions while fighting and is unfazed even when hit,allthough he may get a lil' annoyed. It's just awesome watching him fight because well once again i mention him being hott and his technique is so original^_^
The Technique: Dokkasou-
Dokkasou basically translates as "Toxic Claw." This is probably one of the first techniques we see him use, and throughout the series, we get to see some various versions of it. Useing his hands and clawed fingers, he can execute very poisonous attacks on his opponent- which is so powerful that it is capable of melting all of his target(and pretty much everything else around it). Upon the attack, Sesshoumaru can also often be heard exclaiming "Dokkasou" or announcing that he's about to annihilate the enemy with his Dokkasou.
As mentioned, we get to see various different methods of how he actually delivers(couldn't think of a betta word) the poison attack. Sometimes he just does the rushing forward and slashing at his opponents, while other times he may stab his clawed hands in the air and grab a hold of his target, aiming to melt and poison with his touch. He can also actually "spray" his poison from a distance without touching the person that he's attacking. That's what we see him do to Kagome at the beginning episodes inside his father's tomb in the episode with the Tetsusaiga. He basically stood from in front of her and raised his hand, then releasing his poison in the form of what looked like "mist." The result? Everything sizzled away and buried Kagome beneath a pile of melted poisonous goo. ^_^;;MAN I LOVE HIM
We can usually see when he's about to use his poison because his whole hand starts to glow green"ish". I'm guessing that it signifies the poison gathering at his claws ready to be used as I don't think his hands are poisonous at all times(imagine trying to scratch u'r arm "OUCH"). It was never mentioned where he got all that poison in his body and whether it was an inherited ability or something that he trained for(boo hoo). However, we do know that because he's a poison user, most of the poisons don't really affect him as he was heard to have said later on in the episodes.
The Whip of light-
Aside from using his claws for excreting poisonous attacks, he's also able to make some sort of a whiplash look-alike thing come out of it. It's basically some yellowish white swirl that looks and works like a whip. I'm not sure how it comes out (it just does) but he appears to control it with his two forefingers and doesn't seem to take much effort on his part in executing it.So kewl.
He's used it to reprimand the gigantic, ugly youkai that he often appeared with until the youkai was sucked in to Miroku's air rip(damn the monk). I guess it's convenient when taming a pet? ^_^'' I've also noticed that he uses this particular method a lot when fighting with Inuyasha...and usually it comes after some sort of sarcastic demeaning comment. I'm beginning to think he uses it for the purpose of making fun of Inuyasha. (laughs at inuyasha's incompetence) No, okay...that just crossed my mind only because when he attacks Inuyasha with the "whip", he seems to make Inuyasha look a bit more inferior than he usually dose. That probably has to do with the fact that Sesshoumaru often strikes Inuyasha from up in the air somewhere while Inuyasha isn't even able to get close to him. The usual scenario is Sesshoumaru "slapping" Inuyasha around with that whip-like motion and Inuyasha being too busy blocking to even have time to attack back. =P It doesn't actually do any real damage during these times, but Sesshoumaru still seems to enjoy it quite a bit....hence my little "making fun of Inuyasha" theory. ^_^;;
This method of "things coming out of his fingers" (for the lack of a better description/wordz) also has other more powerful attacks. For example, when we were first introduced to him while he was still searching for his father's tomb and he was suddenly surrounded by a pack of vicious wolves (huh who did those simple minded fools think they were)- he also used something similar to it except in a more elaborate form. The way he executed it was by moving in a way that sort of resembled twirling and spinning his body while using some hand movements that resulted in slicing the enemies around him in to pieces...literally. Instead of a whip, they almost look like green blades flying out of his fingers and hacking da wolves all up. Nice, eh? =D but he still rulez.
The Transformation-
When in need, transform! I always say or rather i lied and juss said that anyway. XD Sesshoumaru is a dog demon and therefore he is capable of changing in to his other form which, of course, is a huge dog.
In his big dog form, he is even more intimidating and powerful than his "human" form. Needless to say, his strength multiplies by quite a bit and well...being that big, it's not like a coupla punches will actually have much effect in terms of hurting him.Though i have to be a skitso 4 a sec. and go against myself and say that it dose make him a whole lot easier to hit ^_^;; On top of that, his ability to execute poisonous attacks also carries over in to this form. However, instead of coming out of his claws, it alternated to dripping off his jaw very much like drool. He basically drools some major toxic stuff- which in turn melts away and burn whatever's sitting on the floor under his mouth. Scary stuff. *_* The fumes of the poison is also incredibly toxic and is fatal to whoever breathes it in.
Aside from the poison, he usually just hops around on his four legs while he's in his transformed state. He also bit and clamped Inuyasha up with his jaw in one of this dog attacks. He was only seen to have transformed once so we actually don't know much else of what he can do as a gigantic dog. At times I'm almost inclined to feel that his untransformed self is more powerful but that's mainly due to the fact that we usually see his most amazing attacks while he's in his human form.Plus he o so much hotter. Hopefully, we'll eventually learn more about his other form and what else it can do!hehe Big doggie so cute *_*
Tenseiga:
Now, you may have wondered how come Inuyasha gets a great sword from his father while Sesshoumaru inherits nothing...but ah, it's not nothing! Sesshoumaru did indeed inherit quite a good sword also created from one of his father's fangs and crafted into a sword by Toutousai. However, we quickly realize that he refuses to use it even though he carries it with him at all times. Tenseiga is roughly translated as "Heavenly Life Fang" and it too has some awesome powers resinating within the blade. Well, the name is quite obvious as to what the sword is used for isn't it? Yep..to heal and give life, which is just about the complete opposite of what Sesshomaru wants to do! According to Toutousai, the Tenseiga can restore life if used by someone who has even a little shread of humanity in them. While the Tetsusaiga has the capability of killing 100 youkai(demons) with one swing, the Tenseiga can be used to restore 100 lives with one swing by someone who has the heart to truly cherish others. The sword is like an equal to the Tetsusaiga, brothers that are two sides of the same coin...it is neither superior nor inferior so it's not as though his father gave him a lesser sword by any means(he wouldn't dare! >_< ). However, a sword that can only be used to heal and not kill, Sesshoumaru could only stare at it with disgust. Who could Sesshoumaru possibly want to heal? The idea is almost funny when you think about the irony of the situation. ^_^;;
Basically Sesshomaru hates this sword and thinks that it has no purposoe.This sword does eventually prove to be of some use to Sesshoumaru. During one of his battles with Inuyasha, the Tenseiga emanated a light that was able to keep Sesshoumaru from dying when Inuyasha managed to truly unleash the wind scar attack on him.As said by Toutousai, the fact that the Tenseiga had saved Sesshoumaru meant that the sword had chosen him as its true master! It is quite interesting when you think about how Sesshoumaru would be unable to kill his brother with the Tenseiga while Inuyasha himself is also not able to use the Tetsusaiga to kill Sesshoumaru. The brother swords cannot go against each other! Was that the intention of their father, who might've known that his two sons would be fighting each other? It's a mystery that we can only guess to but not confirm.
So what about that whole deal regarding the fact that the potential of Tenseiga can only be used by someone who has the true heart to heal? On top of that, the reviving sword had chosen Sesshoumaru as its true master? I mean the Sesshoumaru that we know is of someone who is cold-hearted and does not seem to care about who he kills much less about healing anyone(i love him). In that sense, the Tenseiga works like a double-edged sword for him. Is he even able to use the abilities of the sword with a heart like his? And even if he could, would he even want to? If he did...would that mean that he's *gasp*(jump back) kind-hearted and not as badass as we or even he, himself, think/thought? It is indeed a sword that would bring some surprises in to his life. ^_~
The first time this sword was tried out was when Jaken asked what the swrod was for and well needless to say he was cut down to size...literally!That was when we first learn that the Tenseiga cannot be used to kill as Jaken basically gets back up without even a scratch.When someone dies the pall-bearers are those lil' things we see taking the souls away well anyway tenseiga enables Sesshomaru to see them: which a typical person or demon can not. He can then use the sword to kill the pall-bearers- which would then bring the dead person back to life. And so to answer the question of whether he can use the sword to save someone or not? The answer is yes. =P At that time, he used it to bring a little girl,Rin back to life(she's so adorable) and even though he sort of declares it as a test...we all have to wonder why he really saved her.=^_^= Not only that, but him being able to restore her life....does it mean that his heart really isn't made of stone? Or perhaps, he actually wanted to save her? =D It makes you wonder doesn't it? But then of course his heart isn't bad!!(i mean how could someone so hott be so mean anyway? thats cause he's not mean !!).
So what's a guy to do if he can't wield the sword he lusts after while he has no desire to use a sword that he owns? Find another sword of course. ^_~ Unlike the Tetsusaiga and the Tenseiga, this sword was not created by Toutousai nor was it made from the great Inu Taiyoukai's fang. Instead, this sword was created by Kaijinbou...Toutousai's expelled disciple gone evil. The Toukijin (roughly translates as "Fighting Fierce God") is also a sword that is made from a demon's fang. However the story behind that particular fang is what makes the sword an interesting rival for the Tetsusaiga.
Toukijin:
The fang itself belonged to a demon called Goshinki who was involved in a fight with Inuyasha. Goshinki's fangs were so strong that they were able to destroy the Tetsusaiga by biting and breaking the blade in half during battle. Though Goshinki was eventually defeated and killed by (demon) Inuyasha during the fight, the mere fact that it was able to break the Tetsusaiga gives us an idea of how strong that fang would be if it were to be created in to a sword(hhhmmmmm... i wonder what will happen). Naturally, Sesshoumaru also had the same idea...(WOW !!)and so he brought the fang over to Kajinbou,(who you later find out was Toutousai apprentice turned evil >_<*_*) commanding him to make a sword out of it. At first when Sesshoumaru brought it over to Kaijinbou, he was told that a great sword could not be made out of a fang that is already dead. But fear not, Sesshoumaru has the Tenseiga(lucky him) in which he finally uses it for something he wants(good 4 him ^_^). ^_^ With the fang revived by the Tenseiga, Kajinbou can finally make this new sword, Toukijin.
So the question is..how powerful is this sword? Oh, it's powerful..we know that at least. At first, the sword was surrounded by such a massive evil aura that it actually possessed Kaijinbou when he held it. The evil of the sword basically came from Goshinki's deep lingering desire to kill Inuyasha(seem's a common goal with just about every1 @_@). Kaijinbou eventually dies from his dual with Inuyasha though the sword remained to be contained with evil- so much so that no one was capable of touching it(even Kagome who's supposed to be a reincarnated preistes). When Sesshoumaru arrived to claim the sword, he was warned by Toutousai to not touch it or else he would also be possessed and controlled by the evil within even if it was someone of Sesshoumaru's power. However, we soon see that Sesshoumaru surprised everyone by his ability to effortlessly surpass Toukijin's evil energy and gain control of the sword to use as his own(and not only did he do it but he did it mockingly 2 ^_^). The evil aura dissipated and finally, the sword has chosen its master!
In the few times that Sesshoumaru actually drew the sword out, we're able to see an amazing amount of power pour out of it(like a waterfall hehe). The sword's mere energy/pressure is capable of cutting
