Hypnotherapist /Hypnotist is a legal title and defined in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles published by the Dept. of Labor. The Hypnotherapist and the Hypnotist (Not Stage) are defined as a person who "induces the hypnotic state in clients to increase motivation or alter behaviour patterns. Prepare client to enter hypnosis by explaining how hypnosis works and what client will experience. Test subjects to determine degrees of physical and emotional suggestibility. Induces hypnotic state in client using individualized methods and techniques of hypnosis based on interpretation of test results and analysis of clients problem. May train client in self-hypnosis conditioning."
TAX DECUCTIONS: Treasury Reg: 11625 Allows educational expenses including tuition, travel, meals and lodging undertaken to maintain and improve professional skill.
