Jeff's Soccer Page

Welcome to my soccer page. It will mostly be about my soccer teams and some of favorite soccer players. I play on two teams. Samuel Clemens High School and the STYSA Panthers.


High School soccer is over though. We were district runner-up and we finished the season as bi-district champions (second round of play-offs). I was named to the first team all-district, was a co-captain, was tied for leading goal-scorer, second point total scorer and recieved academic all-district honors. We had a good team and next year Clemens will have a good team. They are losing two starters, one of which is me, and will have all but five players returning.


PFC finishes spring season undefeated and #1!


My club team, the Panthers, is a Division I team which has a long list of credentials including state finalists. There are players from all over San Antonio. There is one other from Clemens and the rest come from Judson, Macarthur, Churchill, Madison, New Braunfels and Seguin. Our record this Season was 4-0 with 4-0, 5-1, 4-2 and 3-1 wins. We finished undefeated scoring 16 goals and allowing only 4. I am third leading scorer this season with two goals and two assists in three games. I was out of town for our last game. This season is over and the first play-off tournament will be May 6-7. We play at 4:45 May 6th at Retama. The Panthers have a website at eteamz.com. I like to watch the premier league on TV but I don't see alot of it here. My favorite player is Dennis Bergkamp from Arsenal and Holland. His goal against Argentina was one of the best if not the best goal in World Cup '98. Holland is my favorite national team and I will be cheering for them in Euro 2000. Arsenal is my favorite premier league team and I always cheer for them. Brazil got lucky in the World Cup and France is lucky they didn't have to play the Dutch because the Cup would be in Holland right now.
