What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is an objective, visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home, performed by a qualified professional.

Why is a home inspection a smart investment?

What to expect during the inspection?

A thorough home inspection will include the following:

• Systems: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical

• Exterior: Roof, Porch, Yard Drainage, Foundation, Deck/Patio, Garage

• Interior: Wall, Floors, Doors, Crawl Space, Ceilings, Windows, Basement, Fireplace

Questions

1. Do you provide a written contract?
Yes, the contract will document what will be included in the inspection and the report.

2. Should I be present during the inspection?
While not necessary, it is recommended that you be present. This allows you to observe the inspector, ask questions directly, and obtain a better understanding of the condition the home is in.

3. How long does an inspection take?
Depending on the size and condition of the home, a thorough home inspection will take from two to three hours.

4. When will I recieve my report?
We will give you a verbal report during the walk through. A written report will be provided with in 48 hours after the inspection is completed. Your report belongs to you and may be provided to other parties upon your request.

5. Do you make repairs?
We are not contractors. We do not make repairs or make remodeling services. Home inspections are our only business. We are impartial and work for you.

All pricing includes Detached Garages.
There will be an additional charge of $25.00 per Out Building
