Hi I am Dave Scoplin from Bristol I have made this web page to keep you up to date with driver 3 and for a bit of fun.
DRIVER 3 NEWS
Driver 3 is delayed until spring 2004 :-( but it gives you will give you something to look forward to after x-mas.By then I bet grand theft auto 5 will be out but guess what Driver 3 is gonna be better than GTA-vice city put it that way!
Here is some great things about driver 3 coming summer 2004 and I think it is about February it will be out in stores.
•Semi Trucks with trailers, that can attach and detach
•Boats that are drivable
•The ability to swim
•3 cities, Miami, Nice, and Istanbul, each over 30 square miles in area
•Over 30000 buildings (not all enterable of course)
•Wrap cars around trees with real-time car damage, finally.
There will be licensed cars, classics, and there will be over 52 square miles for Istanbul , 45 for nice, and 33 for Miami . Out of the 33000 buildings , only 12500 are enterable.
Driver 3 is not out yet, it is scheduled for May 2004, well, some sites say May, others just say Spring 2004. Its only coming out to next generation consoles, PS2, Xbox, GC, and the PC, but you're gonna need one hell of a PC to run it. The main differences (between Driver and GTA) are that Driver has always been focused on good car chases, and they will be even more like Hollywood chases this time, whereas GTA is more about shooting and rampages. The Getaway was pretty bland, it was made to be like a movie, and this movie didn't come with any good extras, free roam sucked. Driver has the best car physics, GTA has good physics (in Vice City), and The Getaways physics are good but cheat a lot, for instance if you come around a corner your car will spin out for no reason, and the cops magically turn around and catch up to you as soon as you pass them, even in a small alleyway that they can't even do a 3 point turn in. You will be able to hit pedestrians this time, but they will still dodge so you might have to work at it, and if you can hit pedestrians, you most likely can shoot them. You can get out of the car and enter buildings, you can even destroy the interiors, so make sure to pack heat.
Driver 3's Rate is Pending, but Driver 1 and 2 were rated T for Teen, so lets hope the same holds true with Driver 3, although it might not be as easy with guns (although my friend said Splinter Cell is T and it has blood in it).

Infogrames announced today that the Reflections developed Driver 3 has been delayed until spring 2004. Previously slated for a fall 2003 release date, Infogrames' Driver series on PlayStation and PC has been a smash hit that's grown into a hugely popular series. Now, with the success and far higher stakes for games of this style, such as Grand Theft Auto and The Getaway, Reflections is requiring more time to develop the third in the series.
"Driver 3 is a complex game that comes with amazingly high expectations," said Martin Edmondson, managing and development director of Reflections Interactive. "It is important to both Reflections Interactive and Atari to dedicate the time and resources necessary to ensure that Driver 3 meets our own goals for exciting game play and next-generation performance laid out by our ambitious design document. Reflections has asked Atari for more time to make sure Driver 3 has only the highest production values from start to finish in all facets of the game. Atari is happy to help us do whatever it takes to redefine the genre that the Driver series created."

Oh my goodness, I can't wait for this game to come out, I was just sitting in my room playing Driver 2 with some friends when I tell him I can't wait for them to make a Driver 3. When my friend tells me that it was already out. I got so excited I searched on the internet to find the truth, and no site gave enough information to satisfy me but the one and only SPECIAL RESERVE. Even though I found out it was on its way I'm still happy about it, this game is going to be a classic. I just hope it doesn't turn out like Vice City and stays rated Teen. I don't want people even confusing it with GTA, driver is its own classic level and needs to stay that way. It has to be the best game of its kind that doesn't include blood, gore, etc. I can not wait for this game to come, I am so excited, I just want this game so bad, I'm going to have to ask god for some way to get this game, It would only be a miracle from god if I got it!!! January 2nd HERE I COME!!!!! This gets a 10 of 10 with flying colors.

I gotta be honest but even if the game's just as good as Driver 2 it's gonna be class, and look at the graphics, they must be better than GTA vice city! I am so looking forward to it's release but it's running so late i mean, it was due last august according to driver 2 but i still gonna buy it Larnu

Diver 3 could be the best game of alltime!! I am deadly serious.!! from wat i have seen the game looks great with fast cars and awwsome graphics! i think that when the game cunms out it should let you shoot people on the streets like in GTA 3 and 4, GOD THAT GAME ROCKED! i also think that you should be able to hijack ALL cars and things so you can go on wild goose chases with the police. I have not played this game yet and all ready fink that it is the best game of all time! i cant wate for it! i will sell my fmily to get it, even tho my wife would fink that is really st00pid LOL! I give this game 1010.
