Founded in 1977 to recognize, reward, and showcase our nations youth, The United States Scholarship Foundation and the California Scholarship Foundation have together contributed over $500,000 in college scholarships to our nations outstanding and talented youth for over twenty one years.
Governed by a Board of Directors, its members are comprised of leaders from the areas of business, education, civic and service organizations, entertainment, and law. It is further supported by an outstanding and dedicated group of volunteers who organize the many special events and activities leading up to a particular event. They devote countless hours of their time and talent, on a non-profit basis.
A committee on ethics, standards and practices meet regularly to insure that the objectives of the program are carried out in a professional manner. Further, the committee evaluates itself quarterly to assess the goals and objectives of the program and the proper dispensation of duties for volunteers. The Committee on Ethics, Standards and Practices serves as a viable voice in the ongoing development of special events and scholarship activities.

The United States Scholarship Foundation believes that the education of our nations youth is our highest priority. Budgetary factors already impead the progress of our youth, by the slashing of classes, programs and activities across our nation. It is our strong belief that private citizens and organizations need to step in and lend support when possible. By providing our young citizens with events through which they can learn and grow, we also provide them with an opportunity to seek college scholarships to aid in their higher education, so they can pursue their dreams and achieve their career goals. We have lived by this credo for over twenty years, and will continue to uphold the finest principals of equality, fair play and professionalism in the dispensation of our duties.
