SOUTHERN BRAZIL MISSIONS

Southern Brazil Missions was established in February, 2001. The primary purpose for Southern Brazil Missions is to train new church leaders and begin new church plants throughout Brazil. Our ministry works with the Igreja Evangélica Nazareno (IEN). This Mission also maintains strong ties with the Nepomuceno Boy's Orphanage in Minas Gerais.

We are in desperate need of financial support for a series of needs. Our focus is in leader TRAINING rather than providing the capital investments for large building projects. We have found that the Brazilian churches, if given the appropriate leadership, will provide for their own capital investmentments for land and building projects. Quality leaders generate healthy believers who in turn are able to disciple others. This growth from the ground level produces church growth and, eventually, income to provide for the added costs of construction and pastoral salaries. As a result, we seek new leaders who are visionary in nature and mission oriented in practice.

A SUMMARY OF OUR EFFORTS AND NEEDS:

We arrived in southern Brazil at the bidding of the Igreja Evangélica Nazareno which was seeking church growth but did not feel they had the know-how to begin. We praise the Lord that we are seeing the fruit of our labors as we and the Brazilian Churches work together for growth!
