For everybody who answered mostly "NO". Sorry you are run by guilt...of failing. Be it your god, your partner or your boss. Are you scared of their wrath?
Has it never occured to you that your decisions are made by guilt and not what you actually think is right? It is your choice. Cut the chains and live, or go back to your herd and make sure you never bleat too loud...or the wolves might get you!
